Pre-schools

The children whom we support often have very complex profiles and multiple difficulties, which invariably require collaborative involvement of other professionals such as an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist to assist with a transition plan that meets the individual needs of each child.

At The Playhouse Foundation, collaborative work with other professionals is an essential component in the success of an effective ABA programme. We rely on the flexibility of approach from preschool staff to put in place mutually agreed strategies and procedures to best meet individual needs. We welcome opportunities for pre-school staff to visit our families and attend our home sessions in order to gain a better understanding of the work we do and our consultants and tutors work closely with staff to put targets in place to help support the children we work with both in the home and in the preschool. We are incredibly grateful to all of the preschools that we work with in Hampshire for making this possible.
