Courtesy of Denplan and Simplyhealth Professionals, a mini iPad and teaching app Proloquo2Go has been purchased and delivered to Lena, who has autism and is non-verbal. Proloquo2Go is a symbol-supported communication app to promote language development and growth in communication skills. The introduction of this resource to Lena’s programme has essentially allowed her to have a voice, alleviate frustration and anxiety and to express her needs to her mother and the team that support her!
