Pica is the abnormal desire to eat something non-edible such as dirt, stones, metal or faeces. Alex has a history of mouthing inappropriate items.
Through targeting this condition as part of his ABA Programme, and with the collaboration from Alex’s fabulous nursery staff, he is now beginning to avoid non-food items for food preferences.
